DXL plugin

Hello

I am new to DXL. In my project, we are exporting the requirements from DOORS to excel and then from Excel to SQL database, which is quite lengthy process.

Can anyone please let me know, whether is it possible to export the requirements directly from DOORS to SQL database.

Is it possible to script in DXL, to open a file in DOORS with specific 'VIEW NAME' and then export them to the SQL database with the given "TABLE NAMES".

After finishing one export, it should close it automatically and open another file in DOORS and export.

Any help is appreciated !

Simple way would be export requirements from DOORS in CSV format and load the csv file in SQL. This does not involve any scripting. just a SQL query.

... and while CSV is an "excel" format, you don't use the excel program.

My intention is not to use a temporary excel or .csv file. So by using any scripting, can we transfer the data from DOORS to SQL database.
